Logo Design in Cumbria — Built Around Your Business Identity
Your logo is the first thing a customer sees. It sets the tone for everything that follows — your website, your social media, your signage, your paperwork. A strong logo does not just look good. It communicates what your business is, builds recognition over time, and gives you a foundation to build a consistent brand from.
At Whamos, logo design is handled by Maria — our in-house graphic designer with a background in brand identity, print design, and digital graphics. Not generated by AI, not bought from a stock library. Designed from scratch, built around a proper brief, and refined until it is exactly right.
We work with businesses across Cumbria — trades companies, professional services, hospitality, retail, community organisations, and councils. Every logo is delivered with a complete file pack: vector files (SVG, AI, EPS), print-ready PDFs, web-optimised PNGs in multiple sizes, and the font files used. You own all logo files outright, with no restrictions on how you use them.
If you are also building a new website with us, the logo feeds directly into the design process — colours, typography, and visual style carried through consistently across every page.
Our Logo Design Process — From Brief to Final Files
Consultation. We start with a conversation about your business — what you do, who your customers are, what you want to communicate, and any visual preferences or references you have. This takes 30 to 60 minutes and gives us everything we need to start designing.
Initial concepts. We present multiple logo concepts based on your brief. Different directions, different approaches — so you can see the range of possibilities and identify what feels right for your business.
Refinement. Once you have chosen a direction, we refine it. Adjusting proportions, colours, typography, and details until the logo is exactly what you want. Revisions included as standard — we do not charge per round of changes.
File delivery. We deliver a complete file pack: vector files (SVG, AI, EPS) for print and signage, PNG files in multiple sizes for web and digital use, print-ready PDFs, and all font files used in the design. Full ownership transferred to you on delivery.
Branding extension. If you want to go further — brand guidelines, colour palette documentation, typography system, business cards, letterheads, email signatures, social media profile templates — we handle all of it as an extension of the logo project. Priced separately, quoted after the logo is confirmed.
What You Get With Every Logo Project
No extras to chase — everything included from the start.
Full Brand Identity — Beyond the Logo
A logo is the starting point. A complete brand identity is what makes your business instantly recognisable across every touchpoint — online and offline.
Once your logo is confirmed, we can extend it into a full brand identity: a documented colour palette with exact hex, RGB, and CMYK values; a typography system specifying primary and secondary fonts for headings, body text, and supporting use; and a simple brand guidelines document that tells anyone working with your brand exactly how to use it correctly.
We also design branded materials — business cards, letterheads, email signatures, compliment slips, invoice templates, and social media profile and cover images — all built on the logo and brand identity we have created together. Consistent across every format, on every platform.
For businesses building a new website with us, the brand identity feeds directly into the web design. Your new WordPress website will use your exact colours, your fonts, and your visual style — built in from the architecture stage, not applied as an afterthought. Talk to us about combining logo design with a new website build for a single cohesive project.

Ready to Give Your Business a Logo Worth Remembering?
Brand Identity Beyond the Logo
A logo is the foundation of a brand identity, but it is not the whole thing. For businesses that need more than just a logo — a complete visual identity system — we develop brand guidelines that codify how your brand looks across every touchpoint. This includes your primary and secondary colour palette with accessibility contrast ratios specified, your typography hierarchy for headings, body text, and captions, your logo usage rules covering spacing, minimum sizes, approved backgrounds and prohibited uses, and your graphic style guide covering the visual language that makes your brand consistent and recognisable.
Brand guidelines matter most when your business has multiple people creating content, or when you are working with external agencies, printers, or developers. Without guidelines, brand consistency degrades over time — different shades of your colour appear in different places, logos get stretched, fonts get substituted. With a properly documented brand identity, everyone who touches your brand applies it correctly, and your business looks the same everywhere customers encounter it.
We also design business stationery, email signatures, social media templates, presentation templates, and vehicle livery artwork as standalone projects or as part of a wider brand identity package. Maria, our in-house graphic designer, has designed brand identities for Cumbrian businesses across tourism, hospitality, professional services, trades, and public sector — from simple logo-and-colours packages to complete brand identity systems delivered with full documentation.
